Attendance Policy

Attendance Requirements

Students enrolled in the Cybersecurity Operations & Defense Training Program are expected to maintain satisfactory attendance to successfully complete the program.

Hybrid Program Attendance

This program is delivered in a hybrid format combining live instruction and guided labs:

  • Live Sessions: Students must attend scheduled live instructor-led sessions
  • Lab Hours: Students must complete hands-on lab exercises and assignments
  • LMS Participation: Students must actively participate in the Learning Management System

Attendance Tracking

Attendance is tracked through:

  • Live session attendance records
  • LMS login and activity logs
  • Assignment and assessment completion
  • Lab exercise submissions

Minimum Attendance Requirement

Students must complete a minimum of 80% of all required program hours to be eligible for program completion and certificate issuance.

Absences

Students who miss live sessions or fail to complete required activities must:

  • Notify the instructor as soon as possible
  • Complete any missed assignments or make-up work as assigned
  • Review recorded sessions (if available)

Excessive Absences

Students who fall below the 80% attendance requirement may be:

  • Placed on academic probation
  • Required to repeat portions of the program
  • Administratively withdrawn from the program

Extenuating Circumstances

In cases of medical emergency, family emergency, or other extenuating circumstances, students should contact the Director of Student Services immediately. Documentation may be required.
