Effective Date: February 2026
Students enrolled in the Cybersecurity Operations & Defense Training Program are expected to maintain satisfactory attendance to successfully complete the program.
This program is delivered in a hybrid format combining live instruction and guided labs:
- Live Sessions: Students must attend scheduled live instructor-led sessions
- Lab Hours: Students must complete hands-on lab exercises and assignments
- LMS Participation: Students must actively participate in the Learning Management System
Attendance is tracked through:
- Live session attendance records
- LMS login and activity logs
- Assignment and assessment completion
- Lab exercise submissions
Students must complete a minimum of 80% of all required program hours to be eligible for program completion and certificate issuance.
Students who miss live sessions or fail to complete required activities must:
- Notify the instructor as soon as possible
- Complete any missed assignments or make-up work as assigned
- Review recorded sessions (if available)
Students who fall below the 80% attendance requirement may be:
- Placed on academic probation
- Required to repeat portions of the program
- Administratively withdrawn from the program
In cases of medical emergency, family emergency, or other extenuating circumstances, students should contact the Director of Student Services immediately. Documentation may be required.
